Hello @ world - here’s a poster I got to do for G O O S E ! I had the opportunity to spend the last six weeks participating in an internship at the legendary Hatch Show Print, learning letterpress printing and working in a shop that is quite literally as old as time itself. I’ve been trying to explore the physical creation and tactile production side of my brain more in these recent months, and this internship was truly the most fun I’ve had with the creative process in like… I don’t know how long. A very long time.
Here’s some process action, featuring an acid trip block of the Ryman (carved by yours truly!) printed over the hand-carved wooden type that’s some hundred-plus years old (not carved by yours truly). Three colors down on a Vandercook Universal 3 (I think), edition of 200.
