NOT FOR SALE - CREATED AT HATCH SHOW PRINT
Here’s the first poster I got to do during my time at Hatch, for rapper/comedian/YouTuber, Kountry Wayne. As my first project there, I was tasked only to use carvings already part of the Hatch Show Print archive and limit it to two colors. Taking a day to dig through the wall of carvings was a fascinating way to learn the shop’s history visually; I can’t tell you how many blocks I mentally set aside for future use but ultimately didn’t get the chance to use. If you could dream it up… there was likely a block of it somewhere in that colossal wall.
