I am proud to present my first gig poster in over a year for none other than the almighty PHISH. I had felt called to take a break from gig posters due to so much of it just feeling like soulless commercial art… I wanted to explore being a fine artist. This poster was my first venture into trying to take a more fine art approach to my gig poster and an attempt to… make something that’s just stunningly beautiful to look at.
I had been wanting to draw a trippy peacock; I had been wanting to do something with a tombstone format; I had been wanting to draw a Chrysanthemum. Here are your results~
