For 2019’s non-profit benefit piece I’ve teamed up with the very talented Josh Sinn, a baltimore-based photographer who loves Baltimore just as much as I do. I first discovered Josh’s work a few years back and instantly became obsessed, the way he captures and composes his photos showed me the city in an entirely different light. Between his moody night photos and day-to-day black and white film shots, I don’t think there’s anyone out there who captures the city better than he does.
“The Greatest City in America” is a set of four 8x10 screenprints that I illustrated and printed, based off photos that Josh has taken. Each print is signed by both of us: an edition of 50. All proceeds will be donated to the Helping Up Mission (HUM) - a Baltimore-based organization dedicated to providing emergency housing, drug addiction counseling, vital human services, mental health treatment, and so much more to Baltimore’s homeless and low-income population . HUM does a lot to lend a hand to those who really need it.
